Warning: The books listed here are hard to find in bookstores because of the methods and techniques they cover. I have read these books to grow my skills and I recommend that you read them as well. Each book talks about a different way of hacking the servers, networks, or computers of your victims.

Hacking Exposed 7: Network Security Secrets and Solutions

If you haven't read a hacking book, you should start here. This is the best hacking book I own. It covers a lot of network hacking and exposes some of the best secrets that elite hackers know. After reading this book, I was able to hack my school network with Telnet brute forcing and change my grades.

Hacking Exposed Computer Forensics, Second Edition: Computer Forensics Secrets & Solutions

If you ever wanted to learn how to recover data someone is trying to hide, you should read this book. It covers how to retrieve deleted data from hard drives, view your victim's internet history to see where they have been online, and unencrypt passwords that have been hidden with asterisk stars (encrypted passwords that look like this: *****).

Hacking Exposed Industrial Control Systems: ICS and SCADA Security Secrets & Solutions

This is a new hacking book dedicated to hacking physical hardware systems that control things we use. It's good if you want to hack an automatic garage door, security cameras, alarm systems, and database mainframes. One time I wanted to leave school, so I used the methods in this book to set off the fire alarm. This book can be very dangerous and should only be used if you are elite.

Hacking Exposed: Malware & Rootkits Secrets & Solutions

If you want to take your UNIX/Linux hacking skills to the next level, I recommend this book. It teaches you how to build malware rootkits (kits that hack Linux root accounts). The techniques in this book will not work on Windows or Macintosh though.

Hacking Exposed Mobile: Security Secrets & Solutions

If you know anyone with a Linux/UNIX/Windows/Iphone/Macintosh smartphone that you want to hack, then you should definitely read this book. I used the information in this book along with ping and telnet to hack a person's phone, drop their calls, listen on their phone conversations, and read their text messages.

Hacking Exposed Web Applications, Third Edition

Web sites have become really popular over the last couple years. Web sites even control bank accounts and social media sites like Facebook and MySpace, which is what makes this book REALLY valuable. This book will teach you how to hack 90% of the web sites out there, even if they're written in a secure lanuage like HTML 5 or C (My site can't be hacked though, becuase it's written in C++ which is more secure).

Hacking Exposed Wireless, Third Edition: Wireless Security Secrets & Solutions

Hacking wireless networks is my favorite. Almost 100% of networking done today is done wirelessly, including phones. If you manage to read through this book, you will learn how to hack wireless networks. One time I was in a Starbucks and I hacked their wifi, which allowed me to hack their ordering system and get free drinks. The best thing about wireless hacking is that it's nearly impossible to trace you because you don't have to be in the building!
